How does the sensor work?

Is the sensor compatible with any padel racket?
PadelPlay is designed to fit around 85% of racket models. It works with most standard handles that can securely hold the silicone mount.

You don't need to check it during the match, just keep it in your bag or on the bench. The sensor stores the data and syncs automatically. After the match, open the app and everything is already there.
What shots can I track with PadelPlay?
PadelPlay detects and classifies all major shot types: forehands, backhands, volleys, smashes, bandejas, lobs, slices, and flat shots. It tracks shot count, intensity, placement patterns, and consistency.
You get a complete overview of your game, not just how many smashes you hit, but how consistent your volleys are, how often you overreach on backhands, and where your unforced errors actually come from.
How accurate is the shot classification?
The AI shot classification is trained on thousands of real padel shots and improves as you use it. Is it 100% perfect? No. Will it occasionally classify a flat shot as a volley? Maybe. But here's what matters: the trends are accurate. If it shows you're hitting 30% more unforced errors on your backhand side, that's real. If it shows your volley consistency dropping in the third set, that's real. Focus on the patterns, not individual shot labels. That's where the value is.
