What is Padelplay?
Padelplay is a smart sensor that attaches to your padel racket and pairs with the Padelplay app to track your shots, analyse your performance and provide AI-powered insights to help improve your game.
During matches and training sessions, Padelplay measures your playing patterns, consistency, unforced errors, smash performance and much more. By turning your game into real data, Padelplay helps you better understand how you play and where you can improve, no matter your level.
How does the sensor work?
The sensor uses advanced motion tracking and AI algorithms to detect and classify your shots in real time.
During your match or training session, the sensor tracks the movement of your racket and sends the data directly to the Padelplay app via Bluetooth. Inside the app, you can analyse your shots, playing patterns, consistency and match performance through detailed statistics and AI-powered feedback.
The algorithm is continuously improved through real match data, player feedback and dedicated data collection sessions with advanced and professional players.
What does Padelplay measure?
Padelplay detects and classifies all major shot types, including forehands, backhands, volleys, smashes, bandejas, lobs, slices and flat shots, giving you a complete overview of your game.
Beyond shot tracking, Padelplay also measures playing patterns, consistency, unforced errors, smash performance and match trends over time. During matches, you can save scores and sets while receiving AI-powered feedback through Coach Manu to better understand your performance and where you can improve.
How does the Padelplay algorithm work?
Padelplay’s AI shot classification is trained on thousands of real padel shots and continuously improves through real match data, player feedback and dedicated data collection sessions with advanced and professional players.
Through these ongoing data collections, Padelplay currently achieves shot classification accuracy of 85% and higher, depending on shot type and playing style.
Some shots can occasionally look very similar in movement patterns. For example, volleys, bandejas or flat forehands may sometimes be classified differently because of their technical similarities.
Is the sensor compatible with any padel racket?
Padelplay is designed to fit around 85% of padel racket models and works with most standard grip setups that can securely hold the silicone mount.
Some rackets with removable cord systems, small hooks at the bottom of the handle or fixed ergonomic grips may require a slightly different setup. In many cases, the sensor can still be used successfully by adjusting the mount position slightly higher on the handle.
If your racket uses a standard grip and overgrip setup, it will most likely be compatible with Padelplay.

Will I feel the sensor while playing?
Padelplay is designed to feel as natural as possible during play. The sensor weighs around 12 grams and is mounted at the bottom of the racket handle, meaning it does not affect the balance of your shots.
Most players notice it briefly during their first sessions, but quickly get used to the setup. Padelplay is tested together with advanced and professional players to ensure a comfortable and natural playing experience.
How do I get started with Padelplay?
Getting started only takes a few minutes. Place the silicone mount tightly around the handle and make sure the arrow on the mount points towards the flat side of the racket.
Insert the sensor correctly with the charging points, green button and side light visible, then wrap the overgrip tightly around the setup to keep everything stable during play.
Download the Padelplay app, connect the sensor via Bluetooth and make sure your playing hand is selected correctly for the best tracking experience.
Padelplay works without a mandatory subscription and the app is free to download.

Is the Padelplay app compatible with my phone?
The Padelplay app is available for both iOS and Android devices and can be downloaded for free through the App Store and Google Play Store.
To ensure the app functions properly, your device must meet the following minimum requirements:
- iOS 14.2 or later
- Android 8.0 or later
The app is currently available in English and connects to the sensor via Bluetooth.
When a new firmware or app update is available, you will automatically receive the option to update inside the app for the best tracking experience.
Do I need my phone in court?
Yes. Your phone should stay nearby during your match or training session to maintain the Bluetooth connection between the sensor and the Padelplay app.
The sensor sends your tracking data directly to the app in real time. If your phone is too far away, the connection can be interrupted which may affect your session tracking.
Who is Padelplay for?
Everyone who loves padel. Whether you are just starting out, play weekly with friends or compete at a higher level, Padelplay helps you gain insights into your playing style, consistency and match performance through real data and AI-powered feedback.
Shipping & Returns
Padelplay ships worldwide. Orders within the Netherlands and Belgium are usually delivered within 2 working days, while most international orders arrive within approximately one week.
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive tracking information by email.
If Padelplay is not the right fit for you, you can return your order within 14 days after delivery.
To start a return, simply sign in through the top right corner of the website and create a return request. Once approved, we will guide you through the next steps of the return process.
Please make sure the product is returned complete, including all accessories and original packaging.
